~Our Armed Forces~
~*~
For the flag that we fly of the red, white, and blue
Our Military fights willingly for me and for you
They have fought many wars at sea and on land
For all of our country, our Armed Forces take a stand

We tend to forget the sacrifices they make each day
Though many came home still some have to stay
Some were Prisoners Of War, some killed or injured
Many the hardships those have endured

So friends I humbly ask, as to God thanks we give
For our health and our freedom in this land where we live
Let us all bring a smile to our men and women we meet
And say a simple "Thank You" to them, as their faces we greet
~*~

Remembering them, and thanking them
AND their families, for giving them
reason to heed the higher call...

Thank you, Ethel...
