Painted amber
upon the night sky
as dusk lowers her heart
& tranquility
unfolds before me
    I stood in shadows
watching each color
blend itself into night

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.

I went to the beach last night and I wished I'd had a camera. It was not as beautiful as this, but it truly was inspiring, just as your poem.

You painted a beautiful picture.  Your imagery was incredibly vivid.  I was thoroughly impressed.  This was quite the little treasure hidden among the rest.

Warm regards,

Kevin
