in our mind's eye
we fear nothing at all
but hidden thoughts spy
like a masquerade ball
a dream dancing nearby
awaiting our fall ...

across the miles, touch
step lightly, sway
distance decreased
a voice heard today ...
a dream dancing nearby
sweet music in play

behind each mask
of feather and lace,
hypnotic eyes
an endless face ...
a dream dancing nearby
the music quickens its pace

all chandeliers dim
smoky mist appears,
sashay across the floor
a burning desire sears
to touch the dream dancing
within music of the spheres

it is hard to resist
the movement in the air
but to exist,
our masks we must unbare ...
at the dreams insist
end this masquerade,
if we dare

"In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living."

If it wasn't right, wasn't real ...
then why did it make us feel ....?

To say I enjoyed this very much would do your words no justice..your words did find my heart..I've let my mask off for a few people only to find myself putting it back..

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
