What Happens To Feelings I thought about writing today Still I hesitated once more Questions I needed to ask But I guess they will ignore What was silence telling me As the weeks pass on by I guess people do change Without giving reasons why I had many happy memories Of shared communication If people move on with life Was silence their indication Only they could fill the space That I have had for so long When they remained silent I knew something was wrong Much was written in the past We communicated before What happens to feelings Do they not count anymore Hope©2005 with music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/91/poem_753266.html |

This was articulated so well...enjoyed the rhyme to this...yet, so so true...so true...hugs to you and thanks so much for writing and sharing. sometimes people become so busy and wrapped up in their own lives, they don't have time for anything else, sad as it seems, it's true...and we miss them...all we can do, is create a busy life of our own, do things we've always wanted to do, but never got to...visit places...go to dinner by ourselves with a great book... |
