Aligned with perceptions and what the people say my body moves slow motion towards wonderment but it’s in the dressing … and the titivating that I’m conscious of a deep weariness. Sluggish like a snail but sleep’s to no avail in this turn around from what the spirits say amidst the drone of everyday constant like a traffic hum in the background of a life. A million steps behind the goal of living life and I drink this punishment like a spiked cocktail until awareness rises … or I simply fade away, a shadow seen and gone. And the book is closed but how many pages blank still waiting to receive another chapter of dis-ease? Helen (Just "writing it out") |

indeed, marvelously conveyed feelings...this had an empty feeling to it... and this.... Sluggish like a snail but sleep’s to no avail in this turn around from what the spirits say amidst the drone of everyday constant like a traffic hum in the background of a life. filled with images, taking me along on emotional disappointments.... Helen, your a true artist from the word go...love your poems.... |
