I had a best friend
but now to the world he is lost,
he's buried deep in some grave
where his coffin was tossed.

I can no longer look
and see his beautiful face,
I guess in his eyes
he felt like a disgrace.

I wish I could have seen him
and told him to sit,
just to talk to him
and help him get through it.

But once you make that decision
there is no turning back,
and that my friend
is a very sad fact.

Now all that we have
is the memories left behind,
we remember his face
and how his smile shined.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

This is a sad write ... happens too often~

However ... your signature line says SO MUCH~

'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal.'

That is lovely and oh so true~
Bless you~

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

So very true. I hope you can find closure.
