in the failing light
ailing hearts are seeking
between day and night
what life is speaking
if you so listen
these desires fill the air
all that is missing
day's heavenly glare
in the failing light
hopeful hearts understand
that the coming night
holds what they demand
if you breathe in deep
hold the moment to heart
memories will keep
though one may depart
in the failing light
find comfort knowing true
when such time is right
I will be with you ...

"In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living."

If it wasn't right, wasn't real ...
then why did it make us feel ....?

Reads a little like an obituary or condolence card, a tribute....
''i will be with you...
within the coming night,
stars shine my death,
for aeons, ages old,
in a world of amber and gold''.

Good write here...
