We danced to the music
of fallen leaves     crackling
underneath

uncertain feet

and the sound of love
was oh,     so sweet....

Hidden there
from all watchful eyes
two shadows blending
in tones of earth,

   and only the sky
could see us
swaying in time
with the trees

heartbeat music
   floated on the breeze....

Seasons come
and seasons go
and also,     love
although sometimes
we never know;
the reason, the how
the answer....
    and why....

        oh why,

but my heart will be
forever dancing
where time stands still
amidst the memories
of autumn skies...

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

This was so pretty, especially

Seasons come
and seasons go
and also,     love
although sometimes
we never know;
the reason, the how
the answer....
    and why....

while reading, and I don't know why, I first read, seasons come and reasons go....

but the answers, somehow we'll never know all of them, if any....

Hugs lady, for a very precious write

sigh...no we never know, and rarely are even given a bit of insight as to love's traipsings...but with time and pain, and wisdome comes a sort of acceptance and that is what I read in this.........along with an abundance of talent

I have such a moment that commands time to halt~

This is beautiful~

You paint such a pretty scene, and then my heart hurts.  Ture poetry in this one.

and you speak to me in rhymes
My body aches to breathe your breath
Your words keep me alive
