From behind, the rattling sails of yesterday
Give color to the lull of surf
Calling to the bisque white skies above
To open
Open a portal, letting down the golden fingers
Of God

Morning comes, in powder blue camisole
Softly showing to the lipid waters
Stirring their conscience with glee

Breeze flutters her lacy shearing
Grin to curve and symmetry
Ruffling buttons and smooth skin
To attentive please

Delight is dawn
Above me reaching down
To slip away the straps that pin my shoulders
Into rhythm with the peaceful waves that rock the shore
Again
And again

Responding to the language of contentment and ease
As natural as air, the moist
Lips of anticipation well
And there, was placed the vision
That fulfills my soul
The color of your eyes, in arms of lake
