Fallen Angels

Guys like Hitler,
Saddam too.
They were social outcasts,
and if I were to tell them
that, to their face,
they would have had
me tortured or killed,
because guys like that
don't believe in the truth,
and they trust in nothing
except power and greed
and blind obedience.
Come to think of it,
that reminds me
of fallen angels.

At least Hitler had enough sense, or
should I say fear, to commit suicide.

Revelation 12:7-12
7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his
angels fought aainst the dragon;and the dragon
and his angels fought.
8. But they did not prevail, nor was a place
found for them in heaven any longer.
9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent
of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives
the whole world, he was cast to the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.
10. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
"Now Salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom
of our God, and the power of His Christ have come,
for the accuser of our brethen, who accused them
before God day and night, has been cast down."
11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony, and they did
not love their lives to the death.
12."Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell
in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and
the seas! For the devil has come down to you,
having great wrath, because he knows that he has
a short time."

Excellent writing. Hitler was the first man that came to mind when the 1st. Gulf War began. All because of men like that, good men died, were maimed and or came home very sick. Makes you wonder about this War now. I sure ended up knowing more than I cared to.
Thank You for your true yet precious words.
God Bless!

James... let me tell ya this

This write brough back a part of my life from long ago.

You see... my brothers church puts on a drama each year called The Judgement, and at the beginning over the loud speaker, a guy reads that beginning passage from revelations.  It always gave me chills

and so did this write

Thank you for quoting that part of scripture.... I had not heard it, or read it in so long

Wonderful write

Tima
