Shamed Idealist

you’ve given face to words
like a spiritual search
coping with uncertainties
long distance healing knows resolution
on a first name basis

clutching my throat, finding solace
in a voice taken away

bounding me to your kingdom
handouts from a course in miracles
and a woman brutally sobs
like a child
pale-skinned under broken street lights

oh for the sunlit dim, for the reiki of moments
confused & knowing bereavement
feeling
death of poplars through animal sacrifices
the ghosts of vampires knows
no friends

and i could escape so easily
in this channel of mystery, in this nevermore
walking hand in hand in Dante’s world
fire and brimstone
measuring an ocean side

i miss the tones of perspective
they've gone and
living all over again, for the first time
becomes the dream
wondering about the home I thought I knew
was it all in my head?
smoke is heavy laiden

it is then
my muse knows the element of surprise
and where the moth goes under torrent skies

random winds, walking earth again
seeking meanings of life
or
some metaphysical jedi
in the narrows of perfection
malingerers await
seeing no light, but the dirges of inhalants
and the milk of all things lost

papa speaks a coherent statement
giving potential to the underworld
dark cosmos hiding, waiting for wars to grow
poking mankind with sharper dimensions
once he never knew existed

drinking sacrificial blood of questions
and the lusts of the world, understood

stellar is this renaissance labeling mainstream
patterns, stellar is the word endure

it is then, nature’s forces desire ignorance
for a vacation from fear….

fear of good & evil….temptations of pride
where remorse lays slanted under night
and of life…manifests broader issues on the flesh
on the mind, on the soul
nature wonders if man is the breakdown
of fragile hearts?

Knowing conscious behavior
like the back of her hand, visioning myself
of lowest life, plugging into some black lady revelation
circumcised by the end of a train
the end of life, heavy laiden
broken in concrete slabs
nothing survives
but dust to dust, hot penned

I see it all in ruins, dead cell phones everywhere!

the animal of man opened pandora’s box
tossing back tumbleweed

man forgets to elect papa as redeemer
i no longer want to live in death’s castle
i want to identify with the place where i die
where
where some thirsty topography
becomes my graveyard
and evil is ripped apart…

Used to have a dream, reoccuring, since a child, every few years or so...

the sky had turned black like night, the stench of smoke and small fires, heavy laiden, all buildings, lay in ruin, concrete broken everywhere, rebarb collecting flesh...endless cries from people needing help...like a bomb hit the entire earth... I ran from one person to another, unable to help anyone, people were pinned under debris...half alive.  I tried desprately to help, running from one person to another...pools of blood everywhere...earth as I'd known it had crumbled, and something awful had happened...knowing the sky would never be light again...

Then, years ago, while visiting a church the minister spoke of some recurring dream of hers...there I was, sitting in the pew, half listening, until she started describing her dream right down to every last detail...abruptly I sat up in wide eyed attention...listening to her describe my dream..."How could she have known?"

After the service, I walked up to her, and asked more about it...she said, there are many people who have had this same reoccuring dream, and they've actually met, people of all walks of life, doctors, attorneys, teachers, ministers, bakers, metal workers, etc.

Believe it?  Still have a hard time believing it?  I've always chalked it off to seeing the movie "War of the Worlds"?  Yup, yup, yup, that's what it was...

A dream of unsurety. I think most people have them. I know I've had one. Not to worry. Good morning sweet. Enjoyed the rant.
