Early Pages

every now and then
I go back to the early pages
I open a poem at random

here I discover a gem
posted long ago
deep down the list
buried by a thousand
new words

ideas, feelings, emotions
buried once again
taken so long
to uncover
overlooked, underwritten
ignored
But, I found it
a beautiful leaf left
over from the fall
under the snow
still full of color
and
I have discovered it...

Isn't it wonderful to rediscover a long forgotten favourite poem?
I really enjoyed this piece.
