O fatherless veteran
you dare spit into my heaven
up on your slow horse
blinding me once again

the sky falls

and you touch me

with your demon flames

O wicked star

you inconsiderate bastard

you cry like a stag
in slow uniformed strokes
you singe the morn

and i

go-on
with my mouth-organ

below tree shadows

below sand and stone

and you will prick me
through the limbs

Diving deep into my eyes,
each stroke and slap
of your smile,
creates stark lines
like worm holes
through my skin.

I am the dirt you shine upon.

Black as night,
black as coal,
black as the teeth
once dangling from the mouth
of Charon.

Who awaits
one half-brother,
in search of the other.

Isn't it coming on winter there?

Definate M flavour to this one- but how pray tell did you get away with using bastard?-- I once had to change a poem because of that word--lol

Well, it could be raining- and it's much easier to carry 'round a pair of shades than it is an umbrella-- though the umbrella is easier to keep up with. I've lost far more sunglasses.
