Rewrite

A show of love

Softly, softly hardly breathing
Once upon a summers evening
A rush of essence cleared the gloom
From passing through a quiet room

The whisper of a launch no more
A silent leap that leaped the floor
This furtive gesture flew in quest
From floor through air to rest my chest

A wet and tender laced embrace
A flowing tongue that licked my face
In from the fields fresh and dirty
An old bitch that I named thirty

She’s a rheumy old nanny
And herself a grannies granny
Who challenged all by her permit
Those dare come near and would not fit

It was for her a cunning coup
To leap and land before I knew
In an instant without delay
She gave her love in rude display

I cannot question how she gives
I only know that’s how it is

This is what I saw and I sure liked it!  Was sure it wasn't Isobel, but then again, maybe?
