In the still

I am        lost

on a journey
for quest of more

       seeking

but always arriving
a day to late

        and I wait....

for today to pass
bringing tomorrow
into reality
    quicker
possibly in form
  of better days

           but come what may

because held in stillness
no movement is found

within this knowledge,
I am bound

binded by truth
I remain

still.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

I like the structure of this one, and the way you use it to emphasize your meaning and bring in the atmosphere.  Well done.

I've read and re read this.....knowing the still within the still....luv you gal....

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.

mon amie

perhaps the still...
is the comfort zone your heart needs
at this moment in time
in order to move safely forward
when the time is right
hugs to you, m'lady

Donna...

this is a

for several reasons.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...
