As the two of us lie
Locked in our embrace
I think with a sigh
Caressing your face
It’s times such as these
That bring me sheer bliss
Your love I will seize
As I give you this kiss

I wrote this in an e-card to someone. It's not much and I don't know if I'll expand on it or not, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Enjoy.

A KISS like that would surely bring a sigh from the receiver of it!

Yeppers! Moments such as you so romantically described, are indeed "sheer bliss".

I trust that the recipient of this card, was deeply touched by your words.

To love and romance!

Thank you all, I’m glad you liked this little piece.

Earth Angel: Yes she did like it as well as the other two I had written for her. I posted one of the others here called “Glitter Girl” not too long ago that I had written for and about her here and I may post the other one, or not. I’ll have to look at it again and decide weather or not it’s worthy of a posting. But then, not long after I had written this latest piece, she told me that she just wanted to be friends, just as all women do. In my 38 years of being on this planet, it really blows my mind how women long so much for romance only to push it away when they get it. If you’re nice to them they make you their friend, but if you’re an A-hole to them they fall in love with you. I’ve been on both sides of this fence many times only to find my hypothesis to be in fact correct. I’ve written a great deal of love poems to women that have meant a lot to me, most of which I have posted have made other piptalk members “melt” as they have said. But sadly the ones from whom they were written for felt nothing other than just simply liking the pieces. Then there are those who I’ve been quite an ass too and have not written them even a single word, only to have them fall for me. This truly is a mixed up world.

Anyways, I don’t know why I told you (and anybody else who might read this) all of that. I guess I just figured you’d like to know a little of the history behind my “love poems”. Thank you for your nice comments and do take care.

you need to find a girl that writes you poetry Then share yours, with her...there are plenty of women out there that do want this sort of stuff, and love it. You find out real fast, that the jerks are well, jerks and that gets old fast. Romance, doesn't! by her saying she just wants to be friends, it clears a path to the one you were meant to find...

I can understand your dilemma, but I truly believe that it is a much smaller percentage of women who prefer the A-H sort of man over a romantic and considerate one. Keep on looking for Ms. Right! She's probably out there dating all those frogs wondering if she'll ever find her Prince Charming ~ YOU!
