The Door is Open

What power flows, this flowers bite?
That changes night into the light
What thoughts parade within my head?
I thought for sure were long since dead

What image floats my night and day?
What sense can bring it here to stay?
What must I do to make it true?
To dissipate the veil from you

You hover o’er my wake and sleep
But always stay within the deep
How can I stay the sun to shine?
How can I stay your heart to mine?

I give to you this flower held
Just hold it once and we will meld
The power that it holds on me
I would it hold it over thee

The door is open to this goal
Please enter it and make me whole

You know Sy, been around a while too, and one single flower says more to me, that dozens of roses, especially when it is held by someone sweet as you.

Morning!

your so sweet
and a flower does say more to ones heart
than words can say at times. thanks for the smile and the warmth, life has been a bit cold lately.
