Somewhere... out there...

flip of tail
acknowledgment...
in gesture of
"I know you're here"
and yes
it was 'enough' for now
acceptance in his
silent stay... and
with a gentle
kiss of breeze
upon a
weary brow

refreshed

a lonely heart
found comfort in the
quiet share of
night

You know this could be a love, or many things, I liked this a lot Vicky.  I chose to think it was the moon.

I remember "silent stays" from friends....sometimes just hearing their breath on the other end of the reciever, or seeing their name on the msgr box...knowing they are there...its an amazing comfort...

enjoyed

hugs, g
