She Took My Breath

She took my breath and held its way
Throughout the night and most the day
Placed my sigh in wraps of vie
And let them fly within her sky

To gather hews within the clouds
To weave within the threads of shroud
A multicolored ecstasy
To light my shadows vanity

And on the byways evermore
I seeded seeds of apple core
To leave a sign that all is well
And leave alone the apples hell

For long ago I drank its juice
And used it as a loose excuse
To place the ego of the mind
And make a temple for the blind

And now I tap a cane of wood
A hollow vain of understood

Good morning, Mr. T.! ~

Your readers have reaped the poetic fruits of the seeds that you have sown.

You dwell in a world where all is well and burn not in a prideful hell.

Your cane of wood is understood.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap. Therefore, you should expect to be harvesting crops divine!

You sow seeds of joy in the visions you plant with your talented words...they then bring forth a joy of their own to be planted in the lives of those around them...Thank you...*big hugs*

All I can do is smile at the wit and wisdom of this clever write...what you do with metaphors and symbolism is poetically brilliant....there is so much here to read between the lines and beyond the signs....
You are a rock and roll poet me sweet Sy-babers.
