The storm
Is long and loud

Yet however hard
The rain may fall
This sadness will stay
In the summer air

And when morning comes
On another day
It will still be here

Only more familiar
Than it was before

interesting perspective....and yet, out of great concern, I say, it will only be, as we allow it to be...

well done and beautifully said!

And the wind can't blow it away either. Well-written.

sometimes we must become intimate with it in order to live with it.

I love rain but storms are my favorite.  They come, they cause all sorts of upset, then they leave and things calm down.  A reminder that this too shall pass..

Really enjoy this reading, thank you!

I know these days well... sometimes they gain the name of a month because they will not leave. Excellent work!!
