Some days it doesn’t even matter whether or not the weather hits me between the eyes or the thighs, it’s just another chilled day, huddled up against myself wondering why the clouds pretend to know what storms are about, even as harsh winds beat me down while climbing the hillside to reach some unknown height. I slide all the way back down. Gravity keeps me stuck here, but please don’t worry... my spirit knows there is an open window; so nothing can stop me as long as I remember the choice of the exit is always mine. And no, this isn’t about sadness or doom but about a spirit which chooses to fly no matter what force of gravity dictated by any given hostile situation might dare bring it down. Someone gave me wings. I just have to remember to use them. |

Oh God Kacy I ADORE this because you know what? We ALL have wings and it is that lil' nudge that gets us up and flying and My God I am so grateful to way too many people for pushing me out of the nest. I am so grateful for you because you always set it straight no matter how you are feeling.
