Yesterday
seems to have
slipped away

   quickly,

so quickly
the tick of time
has passed by
in rhyme.

Where has yesterday gone?

There is nothing
more transparent
than this apparent
facade of falsities
and the fallacious emotions
that we have strung

on heart strings

silver threaded feelings
the pull and tug
harder each time

we burn ourselves
singeing our love
while tempting fate

            {and didn't we say, love's just a game?}

but this wildness can't be tamed

caught somewhere
between love and hate
          hurry,

hurry
tomorrow may be too late

it is our need,
we feed
neither one is to blame
so thus, we dance
in eternities flame.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

love those lines Donna.  Mainly because I have lived there, in the flame.  Now I just bask in it's warmth and it is so much more fulfilling.  Know what I mean?

Susan, you understand....
exactly that.
you do know me so well lady.....grinz...

Love has it's own time,
it's own season,
and it's own reasons
for coming and going.
You cannot bribe it
or coerce it
or reason it into staying.
If it chooses to leave,
from your heart
or the heart of a lover,
there is nothing you can do
and nothing you should do.
Be glad that it came to live
for a moment in your life.
If you keep your heart open,
it will surely come again.

To know those flames is to truly BE.

I love the music produced by your words also.

I believe when we stop over rating love, being co-dependent on it, we start to truly understand what love really is...in it's many many forms...to many people today say, I love you, but don't understand...looking to strongly for that power, thinking it is sex...making love is only one small aspect of what it truely is...love is certainly not looing to someone else for happiness...if your not happy with yourself, if you don't love who you are, without plastic surgery, and face lifts...jewelry and the best cloths...well, you'll never be happy with yourself, and you just make someone else very unhappy....sad, but true...

this was simply amazing...thank you for sharing...and also this

Love has it's own time,
it's own season,
and it's own reasons
for coming and going.
You cannot bribe it
or coerce it
or reason it into staying.
If it chooses to leave,
from your heart

"facade of falsities
and the fallacious"

~ richly alliterative!

"that we have strung

on heart strings

silver threaded feelings"

~ Beautifully put.

Donna, I do enjoy your rambles. They are so vividly and emotionally expressed and I am always impressed by your unique turns of phrase!

Love ya!
