it was how midnight's breeze
vivified the sheers draping
that chilled me

was not fresh the dirt turned
upon a past none suspected
save God and moon?

you

intent upon avenging
blood spilled and I

powerless

silent pleas hung heavy
between spaces where
sympathy was foriegn
in this land of ravage

your lips stripped
cellophaned denial
stole comfort with
white hot touch
this night, accursed
me with reasons for
life and death
beneath the knowing

the rythmic

knowing

Yes...

Now this is the kind of writing that I have been missing from you during your far-too-long absence!

You had me hooked right from the get-go! ~ "it was how midnight's breeze
vivified the sheers draping
that chilled me"

~ Yeppers! Pure Tiersdin! Keep 'em comin'! You've whetted my appetite for more! more! more!

Hugs with love,
Linda

I have no idea why but this reminded me of a tryst with a vampire.

(as if I would know)

Beautiful writing, Tier - as always

Yes...
heck, when it comes right down to it, what else is there, nothing in this world, can replace the knowing of these words...and that's the wealth of it...

Tremendous write
