The Point of Know Return

where to? the moon. and with the drop of a hat, we fell into each other, screaming and bawling--tears filled our oceanic eyes but the weight of days was not enough to push us over the edge. we visited dreams in late night playgrounds of impenetrable fate and 2-ply glory. We sat, woven at the ears while we blew up these dreams like golden balloons and I cautiously popped them the wake of meaninglessness.

we started over from scratch. I went searching for flowers and retrieved new balloons that we blew up ten times harder and they became ten times larger and in the shape of beating hearts holding bloody hands.

i blacked out and dreamed you were giggling.

Hey MCB didn't know if you meant for your poem to read as a story, or paragraph or not.   Hard to read as a poem with its current layout.
