 Artist: Linda L. Dowd Our Country Home ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ Our little patch of heaven, Lies outside our country home, Where fields of wild flowers, Rise up from earthy loam. Blue skies go on forever, Pines whisper in the breeze, Maples change their colour, Before their Fall-ing leaves. Hills roll in the distance, And are limned by setting sun, Meadowlarks sing their songs, When our day is done. Our little patch of heaven, Lies outside our country home, Where fields of wild flowers, Rise up from earthy loam. |

Margherita ~ My painting was displayed when I posted it, but when I went to view your reply it was gone. Then I went back in and it is now showing! Peculiar! Oh well, I hope you can see it now. Actually, this is a painting I did of our very first house. Each house got grander and grander, but I miss the charm of our first house and all the love that filled it! Mind you, I am enjoying my new life VERY much!   Linda |

Well, I have reposted the picture by uploading it to photobucket.com as Marge suggested. I hope that this works. I am truly thankful for all the suggestions and explanations that I received to my dilemma in Discussion Q & A. I am going to check that site out more often! yep...I followed Marge's suggestion too! I had nowhere to link to pictures myself, because GeoCities limits the views. I put up a pic of my daughter and me on my poem 'Naomi' using photobucket it works great! Love the painting...you do splendid work! |
