Little Faces

Every morning
I wipe the loneliness from my eyes,
brush off the wrinkles of age
and go forth into a renewed world,
hopeful.

Even the rain today, can't dampen the joy
when I know that the young faces
remember my name as I walk by,
a few running over to give me a hug,
one that is so meaningful, that
even the thought of these words
can rise in tears.

It's what has been missing for years...
Well at least one thing, anyway.

i can really tell that the joy of going back into teaching, has put the smile back into your inter-self along with your great smile you always show us.

Thank you all, I am enjoying being in the midst of so many children. They make me laugh and enjoy the day. I am the lucky one, to make so many new young friends.
