What measure of the heart defines this love? Surroundings often catch us unaware, that hand in hand we fit just like a glove, the ease with which we acquiesce all care. And, how shall one denote that which is felt in company of others, yet, alone? Resisting arms that urge us just to melt, such thoughts for which our bodies will atone. And, having consumated our desires, as drifting back from where it was we've gone, what notions then such passion may inspire as if that glow forever lingers on. Then, if this be insanity, my love, so be it, I shall plead by reason of. |
