The arc of what has become is unbroken
In stream of endless fall and gather
Looking back with kind eyes
The images of as I was
Now vague and unfamiliar to who I am
And tenderly I twirl the locks of innocence
Knowing every step I took, the map I followed
Remembering the reasons that chose me
And finally, in the smile once reserved only for others
I see me in mercy, and mercy in me
