Listening to every heart

Hidden

Give me a moment, Sir,
let my supplication be seen
only by you, for
I kneel, weak and tired, before you,
in your light,
in your light.

Let me weep, this,
a woman’s weakness, surely,
though over generations of time,
I have seen man shed
quiet runnels of wet liquid,
as he denied any remorse, nor requested
audience of one…
in Your image.

Let me hide in your forests,
as you sculpt once again this
new form into mold of genesis, let me
wither before rebirth, let me…

let me…

be.

Thank you, dear lady......

If ever there were a morning when I needed a quiet reassurance of the world's rightness, this is that morning....and in the first thing I've read, here it is.
