The Rainbows end

One day I found the rainbows end
Before it fade in wind and wend
I rode the spirit of my mind
And laid my crop on it’s behind

I would not let illusions force
Drive me off my wish and course
I kept the blinders on my eyes
And paid no heed to swish and sighs

It was a race a maddening pace
To reach the end and gain first place
To charge into the treasures hall
To shut the doors and have it all

But when I plunged into the cist
I found the dew of morning’s mist
Where gold lay heavy in the sky
And stars, t’would make a diamond sigh

It’s there I learned a moment true
A treasures find is up to you

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and that will be my WAY cool verse of the day... that last line... you are the bomb.
I would not let illusions force
Drive me off my wish and course
I kept the blinders on my eyes
And paid no heed to swish and sighs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

leave the sighing to the moths LOL

But when I plunged into the cist
I found the dew of morning’s mist
Where gold lay heavy in the sky
And stars, t’would make a diamond sigh

and there is the verse that launched a million sighs.  *S*
how very lovely are your couplets of cadence...

It’s there I learned a moment true
A treasures find is up to you

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well then I will tell you true ...
I found rainbow rhyme treasure in you.
*ww*
I am sure of my reasons, embracing the seasons,
and the sacred simplicity of you at my side.
That truth is so valuable to keep in mind, but so often we lose it. Thank you for the reminder.
Well done, Sy.  I hope you didn't make the same mistake I did.  I ended up in a room of vengeful kitties.  Not good.
