I can’t keep my mind from her
She sets my heart a whirl
Alone I think
Of her in pink
My gorgeous glitter girl

My arms they long to hold her
Her lips I ache to kiss
When I’m with her
My thoughts will stir
With visions forged of bliss

I only wish to show her
All that I can be
And touch her slow
So that she’ll know
The love that lives in me

Her eyes they see right through me
With the luster of a pearl
My soul did melt
With the touch I felt
From my precious glitter girl

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece.

Sea: I'm always glad to see you on my posts. I haven't written much as of late but you've been reading my work ever since I started posting on this site some years ago and that makes me feel good. Thank you again.

I do believe your Glitter Girl is a lucky one! This was an especially tender poem of love and appreciation. I felt my own heart fluttering as I read your words!

Warm hug and smile,
