 Artist: Edward Dufner A Part of the Flow ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ With tides of life I now am flowing, Down Old Man River I am rowing. I fly with soft winds beneath my wings, And with the songbirds my spirit sings. My path at night glows with light from stars, And moonbeams captured in candy jars. I romp in fields of clover green, And beside still ponds I lie serene. With billowing sails I cross calm seas, Down every stream I flow with ease. With petals opened like lotus flower, I drink in rays of solar power. I’m fresh and free as a springtime breeze, I bend and sway like the willow trees. To Nature’s beauty I’ve opened eyes, And now see rainbows that bridge blue skies. Seeds of knowledge I now am sowing, Like wise old owl I have a knowing. I walk in His Footprints left in sand, And I brim with love and understand. For I am part of Life’s ebb and flow, I feel the pulse wherever I go. |
