His Healing Love
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+
I’m trudging up steep mountain high,
To touch a patch of clear blue sky.
My feet are heavy and slow me down,
But on I plod, o’er rocky ground.

Prevailing winds do thrash my face,
As I do scale this wretched place.
Thorns and thistles prick my skin,
Trying patience that has grown thin.

The cold is sinking to core of bones,
But I do stifle my moans and groans.
For the pall of gray that cloaks my soul,
Is lifting as I near my goal.

An Eagle Spirit leads the way,
Up the mountain as I do pray.
For healing of mind, body, soul,
To harmonize and make me whole.

I will not stop my soul’s ascent,
For on I’ll trek without dissent.
The summit marks my journey’s end,
To every twist and turn and bend.

~* ~

The sun now shines through patch of blue,
Warming me the whole way through.
I’m bathed in Light from God above,
While basking in His Healing Love.
+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+

If there is anyone I believe could make it to the summit...it is you!  God's speed!

Now that is for sure!  This was a beautiful testiment of your faith, both in words and presentation - just lovely!

Beautiful, EA.  I do believe we will all reach that goal eventually but only once we've realised that it is a goal, can we set about climbing mountains.  You're already far ahead of the pack!

Hi, Helen! Yes, I believe in the importance of setting goals as well. I reach for the furthest star, but if I never get to touch it, I am still among the stars!

Sending you love and Light,
