In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2005-05-13 02:27 AM

First -- abandon style
so many dreams coming up
with the rising storm
the meeting of crossing waters
and all the ash is
washed away

the space  is open

pray for me in soft
spoken words:
       give a little

so you can see the ocean --
where there is horizon
there is sky

there are no borders when
the cold winds blow
between earth and first winter

until we tear the memories
and merge with what remains
      the touch of season
      and time changing

I am made of hollow shapes
and often reminded that angels
soar but seldom walk

I will forget my palms are pressed
and my lips dry
in moments here and past

the longer view does not
matter, if you find yourself
weeping through shadows
waiting for sparrows
to edge the gold
in release

I often ask how do
I understand such beauty
and question such fear

in darkness, all sidewalks ache

waiting for rain to wash
away the chalk

I came from the mountain
The crust of creation
My whole situtaion-made from clay to stone

you soar

your words touch
and are felt.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

Sweetheart,
this is painfully beautiful...
and you didn't issue
a hanky alert...
