Find That One Thing That Truly Makes You Happy (Part of: “Emmanuel Endorphin’s Serotonin Sundae”) By: Noah Eaton 5/12/05 Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, Sometimes your smile is the source of your joy, Which came first, the chicken or the egg, All I know is we’re all interconnected, oh boy, I hear this joy in every singing taxi driver, Every child in a raffia hula skirt, Every mother who warms the egg, From the birth of each baby bird! Find that one thing that truly makes you happy, One joy scatters a thousand griefs, Play with your smile like a pink yo-yo, Toss it to your friends like your favorite frisbee, Find that one thing that truly makes you happy, A joy that’s shared is a joy made double, Blow your bliss like a kiss through a bubble wand, watch all the children chasing these love bubbles! We are all imperfect, and that’s alright, That’s where humor comes from which spices life, Realizing we’re human only encourages life’s great journey, and the humor inspires the laughter that keeps us shining bright. Look over all your scrapbooks of counted blessings, And from them make your own collage hula hoop, Twirl your rapture around you from head to toes, Set your spirit free like a flamingo in the groove! Find that one thing that truly makes you happy, One joy scatters a thousand griefs, Play with your smile like a pink yo-yo, Toss it to your friends like your favorite frisbee, Find that one thing that truly makes you happy, A joy that’s shared is a joy made double, Blow your bliss like a kiss through a bubble wand, watch all the children chasing these love bubbles! Oooh ahhh, you ready for your heart to really blossom? Watch me take four things I love the most, And lose myself in ecstasy performing four in a column, I am blessed to be your neighbor, I offer my gratitude with this sugar in the raw, Love’s seeking to make another person happy, Don’t be shy, ignite this crayola bomb!
