My neighbor across the street has several big Magnolias and they are beautiful.  But my yard is full of Lagustrum and they're in full bloom right now and the aroma from them (which is truly wonderful) pretty well over rides all other flowers this time of year.

But in two weeks it'll all be gone - then my Gardenia's take over for a couple weeks...then I will be able to get a wiff of the Magnolias!

Enjoyed.

Hey Marge~

I grew up with two Magnolia trees in my yard....hours of playing and climbing....this brings back sweet memories of all that, and the smell of spring and summer....beautiful...

Friends~
Thank you all for enjoying this Magnolia beauty~
I just love the way it stirred memories for you~

This is from the Southern Magnolia tree ... stands about 40 ft. high in the front yard~
She's a beauty for sure and she's loaded with blooms~

And ... yes, the fragrance is quite 'lemony'~
