Side by side through good time and bad
Through the devastation of a storm
The recovery of the flood that followed
To the mix of Blue and Grey days
That lay ahead
Without question or demand
A helping hand extended out
Though it didn’t bring happiness
It was there to guide the way
Now that the skies are looking blue
The sunshine here to stay
The wingless shadow sets adrift
So that the grey days stay away

A vision of beauty brought to life after the dark, fearful devastation of a storm....a vision the reader can feel...well done...

This write described the feeling as the weather clears after a storm...so too, does the soul...given time and care. Liked the positive vibes.

As I apply the topical, to my own life...I would offer that the greatest happiness given and received is without question, and does not require...it always was, it is and it will be.

Oh (she blushes), did you mean by the title that you didn't want any RSVP?
Some poems just reach into the heart and bring the responses on their own merrit.

Nice One Paz.
