On the cusp of clouds,
static consumes
what eludes me,

the sky is calling
her dancing ballerinas backstage,

this is merely rehearsal

and not yet the time for lovers ........

dandelions deliver
spring wishes
sprinkling illusions,

and poof........
you're gone again,

before you've come full term,

blinking lights recede
in the black sea distance,

and you dilute
on the very screen
that etched your watercolor,

the magician
taps you out once more,
and illusion's hand
seduces the love fool,
as your vision teases
between the shuffled cards,
your chesire cat grin, winking
with this semi charmed dream again,

i remind myself,
this is merely your first sighting
of the season,

there is still hope,

2 robins and a sparrow
fade on the cloud wisp they chase,

sitting crosslegged
on the fresh coat of april's green,
i wonder -
did i know to look up
just at that moment,
or would they have flown by, regardless?

in this topsy turvy world
you do another about face,

and i wonder Sean blue eyes,
will you ever come through for me again?

You offer so much in this beautiful piece of poetry, dear Michele.

You were meant to behold the birds' flight to enjoy their beauty and to remember how it feels to soar, because you are meant to soar.
