(Hey everyone! This is my latest lyrical poem from the set "Emmnauel Endorphin's Serotonin Sundae", and I am dedicating this to my mom and to all the wonderful mothers out there of Passions for Mothers Day tomorrow! Happy Mothers Day, Passion poet moms, yay! (sends mother appreciation hugs to all of Passions moms! And to the rest of you, angel friendship hugs for you too, yay! ) Treat A Hug Like A Next Door Neighbor (Part of: "Emmanuel Endorphin’s Serotonin Sundae") By: Noah Eaton 5/7/05 I stepped out from my front porch, on this sunny day, hey, hey, hey, sampling another little taste of the good life, lemon ice and orange sherbet graced Lover’s Lane, and I saw you standing there, leaning against a lollipop lamppost in the heart of Miranda’s Midway, and I welcomed you with this gift, a gift which one size fits all and is easy to exchange. I gave you a handshake from my heart, (handshake from my heart) we’ve got here all the arms we need, cause we are all of the same heart, my hug department’s always open, I only ask in return one favor, exchange your love throughout the world, yippee, I'm gonna treat a hug like a next door neighbor! We were skipping like grasshoppers, skipping the hours away, sunshine was singing in our hearts, even as it began to rain, the smell of freshly cut green grass, lingered in the whimsical air, and we were dashing, prancing, splashing in the puddles without a care. You gave me a handshake from your heart, (handshake from your heart) we’ve got here all the arms we need, (all the arms we need) cause we are all children of the stars, your hug department’s always open, you only ask of me one favor, that I’ll exchange back all my love to you, yippee, I'm gonna treat a hug like a next door neighbor! . . . Treat a hug like a next door neighbor, it’s better to put love into hugs than to put it into words, so here I go now, just singing along now to the chorus, I always love days like this, So treat a hug like a next door neighbor! Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! (You can’t wrap love in a box, but you can wrap a person in a hug!) Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! (Come on, kids, let the world show your love!) Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! (God, I love this day, how I love this day!) Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! Gonna, gonna, gonna, gonna, treat a hug like a next door neighbor! "If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other" Mother Teresa |

"it’s better to put love into hugs than to put it into words," ~ I couldn't agree more! Mind you, you do a mighty fine job of putting love into words as well! This poem is a delightfully tasty and tantalizingly delicious feast for the heart! Hugs full of love, Your friend, Linda |
