Have A Good Laugh
(Part of: "Emmanuel Endorphin’s Serotonin Sundae"
By: Noah Eaton

Ah ha ha ha!
.
.
.
hee hee hoo hoo hoo…
.
.
.
(SURPRISE!)
.
.
.
Ha ha hee hee,
ha ha,
.
.
.
(sigh)
.
.
.
Hey everyone,
Gelasia Monkeyflower’s the name,
and I’ll be your laughing coach for today,
hee hee, hoo hoo!
.
.
.
Ha ha, if you thought,
the Tanganikan laughter epidemic of 1962 was side-splitting,
that was just a proving ground,
watch as we get the whole world internal jogging,
tee hee hee...
.
.
.
"Laughter is the shortest distance between two people,"
it puts roses in your cheeks and in your soul,
I’m here to offer you this free cardiac exercise,
let’s hear ‘em shout, "Hey, smiles, let’s get you all amplified!"
in no time we’ll get every epinephrine to Charleston,
Earth laughs in flowers, and there’ll be no tough crowd when we’re finished,
Santa Claus may have to change his tagline after we go samba,
public meetings will erupt up as they did with Swami Vivekananda...

Teach the world a language higher than a soprano’s high C,
book and extend this instant vacation with all our made-up amenities,
laughter translates into any language, and we’re making this round trip,
opening every gateway to the ear, skin to skin,
everyone’s got a laughing place, hey, y’know,
you should consider putting yours on the Parade of Homes,
hoo hoo hoo, that’s rich, you’re making me crack,
let it all out, have a good laugh!

Some people look at me on the street like a rabble-rouser,
coming in halfway through one of my harmless lil’ Monkeyshiners,
but once all my kissing cousins hear one from beginning to end,
they go va-voom kablooey like a sea of exploding pens
(Tee hee hee hee,
you wish you could rhyme like me!)
Maybe when my throat is hoarse and this song is finished at last,
could I trouble you for a nice cold water glass?
(Oh no, not the ol’ dribble glass gag,
look at me now, you’ve got me going like a Liederkranz!)
You’re catching on really quickly with my skylarking doll’s eyes,
you may be forcing me to put on my lil’ Groucho disguise,
hee hee hee, I joke, I joke, I keed, I keed,
made you look, hoo hoo hoo, we’re only about love, harmony and merrymaking …

Teach the world a language higher than a soprano’s high C,
book and extend this instant vacation with all our made-up amenities,
laughter translates into any language, and we’re making this round trip,
opening every gateway to the ear, skin to skin,
everyone’s got a laughing place, hey, y’know,
you should consider putting yours on the Parade of Homes,
hoo hoo hoo, that’s rich, you’re making me crack,
let it all out, have a good laugh!
AH HA HA HA HA!
.
.
.
(Hee hee hoo,
.
.
.
Ziazan Zhixxokae & the Zulu Nut Troupe,
.
.
.
let’s bring along all these lil’ kookaburras,
.
.
.
to the cosmic zoo!
.
.
.
everyone loves to see the monkeys,
.
.
.
wait until I blow my slide-whistle,
.
.
.
the whole monkey house is partying out of bounds,
.
.
.
hee hee, oh my, hee hee, they’ve got the whole zip code to giggle!
.
.
.

AHHHH HA HA HA,
my oh my, you have quite a laughing place,
Let’s do this again tomorrow,
on now I go to Coeur D'Alene,
Whee hee hee hoo hoo ha ha ha, hee hee, (sigh)

Noah, you are an absolute nut bar! ~ a psychedelic banana! ~ and you are the "L" in "Laughter"! You crack me up then raise me into the ethers in a helium balloon of non-sensical madness!

Please note: I love nuts, candy bars, bananas, balloons ~ and whimsical humour! Thank you for this afternoon's pick me up!

Hugs, Loves, & Laughs,

Linda Balloons

My friend, this was fabulous! No one writes like you and thank goodness for that!

This was indeed, an afternoon pick-me-up!

hugs, Marti

Once you have laughed with someone, the step to friendship is short.

... and when you are in love, being able to laugh together is the way to keep the bond in good health.

Enjoyed your unique way to convey the message, dear Noah!

Love, Margherita
