I hear you,
calliing to me,
across the heather,
wind blasted, rippling
purple, the moors
echo with your
devoted cries, each
sweet call from
raptor, fox, skylark,
fills a heart
with freedom to
fly forever free.

Justice cannot be for oneside alone, but must be for both. (Eleanor Roosevelt)

across the heather,
wind blasted, rippling

Enjoyed the contradictions in those lines.
Love is a lot like that,
and your poem soars beautifully, Goldenrose.
