(Sometimes it helps to "write it out")

Hands reach across the great divide
and spiritually entwine to exonerate a lie
but mystic sensitivity inherent in the flesh
also a soothsayer and discerner of the truth.

One day a silent touch of shy tenderness
traveled so the path of spirit into flesh
in the dark seeking, probing, and disputing
the façade of human nature considered paramount.

Over and across imperfect body lines
but above, way above, the sense of human laws
and I became a woman in the likeness of true love
beyond the mortal eyes of the one in denial.

For God so loved the world … and I the sacrifice
thrown lonely on this stage of unfulfilled desire
to forever hold aloft the flame eternal love
as a humbling experience of the human kind.

Forsaken - but I know I’m trapped in present times
dependant on fool’s gold to allow the words to flow
but not on knees shuffle I into the way beyond
because not my bells but His ring in the changes.

Spiritually entwined and the best I do is cry
but rather put it down to the common cold
that dribbles so continuously
the water of my soul!

Dixia and Adagio - thank you so much for the read and for your kind comments.

Hi, Bluesy!  A sincere thank you.  Passionate spirit?  Perhaps that's the secret of life - oh, but passionate about ALL things in life otherwise we are but as "souding brass" merely going through the motions.  I really do appreciate your supportive comments.
