Far from where I am going

The sun is shining brightly today
welcoming and warm
but it is nothing
without your glimmering smile
to complement it.
I would rather just sit here
at the foot of the bed
in the darkness
and massage your aching feet
than walk in bliss without you
i would rather just sit here
with you, you only
and i never want to leave.

(wow! it has been a little while since i've posted thanks to writers block. Well i hope you enjoy my poem that has broken me away from writer block's shackles.)
