statue of tears
who worships at your gown
where are your temple dogs
when they are but brass
and their chanting is smoke
with a windless friend

you will be lonely now
as you bury your children
in the yellow sky morning
and show your eyes
to your theadore
with hate colored glasses

will I be your favorite tree
when you return from sodom
will you nurse my bark ends
and beg for the splinters
that ruin your teeth
will you lend me your lips

and the thread to sew them silent

hmmmm, maybe so, but sounds a bit to me, like your trying to quiet someone...not something?  but then, I've been told, I'm cut and dry?  So, you'll have to further educate me, yes?

Hugs and good morning

Such a sad song to see the demise
of a future's past...

as is your nature, you drew the fine lines
into a piece of art, in order to let the
thoughts and lives that knew joy in that building
live on - and for this, I thank you.

I love old buildings - they are a character and personality in themselves and it is sad to see them go -

stunning capture here D -

DS

So much changing...the river changes the land, and man tears the old lovely to make new.  I hope that in the new, enough living and loving can be done to make them as precious one day, as the old.
