Drag

My body drags behind my mind
It cannot stay the course of find
It cannot use the wings of seem
But feeds upon the echoes dream

It is a base the net has cast
The factory that makes the last
A pinch of power of the hour
The seed from which grows the flower

It pulls the weight of gravity
With limited viscosity
Bound within reality’s bend
Until it’s ware comes to an end

And so the mind extends the seem
Sending echoes of the dream
Flying through dimensions white
Filling in the hews of light

And there within a golden peace
Some day will net the Golden Fleece

Dear Seymour, your mind shares its light daily here, and very beautifully so!

And by doing so it keeps fit also the body.

Love and hugs.

Tis hard for mere legs to keep up with such a spry mind

Randy says leave the winged work to him and the rest your poetry will reveal...
your rhymes are the "golden fleece"

Oh, my friend... you're not alone. *S* I answered a greeting this morning with "I'm here, but dragging"... and then thought how much more appropriate my response would have been with another "t"... I'm here, butt dragging. LOL

Seymour, If I had but half the wonderful mind you have, I would be content to live within it. You possess; gardens; libraries; art galleries; rainbow skies, elf's and fairies; beauty of every sort and most of all love; within that mind.  To top it off you share each day with  PIP's  who eagerly await the morning brief. Thank you, for all you have written. I read faithfully, but can never find the words to give back to you. best marty
