Dust and Stone

She holds me in a web of love
Like the sea and the stars above
Five tentacles that hold my mind
Five senses that are held in bind

I try my best to understand
The touch of eternity’s hand
Savor of forever’s flavor
Understand her never waver

How many life times does it take?
To wash upon my shoal and wake
To reach the state of dogmas blind
Stay the tentacles of my mind

I stand upon this passing shore
And pass into the evermore
Yet still to me an ever strange
To heed a love of never change

And though I dust beneath this stone
I feel that I am not alone

Another lovely write to ponder. If I may...I would like to join my sister Enchantress and you for tea .... nursing a cold today. Hugs, Chris

LOL at JM's reply, and yours in return

I wish I had five tentacles today, after smashing my right hand in the car door last week, there are still some unfinished chores that await attention here at home and work. *sigh* thanks Sy, for the kewl write
