I Weigh

I weigh my echoes ounce by ounce
Listened to them bounce by bounce
Determining the coming spring
The snow that stayed in lingering

And in the idles of the wile
I placed a little peppers guile
I said I’d chase the honey bee
And add a little to my tea

I’d lift the curtains of bizarre
And sift the certain comes by star
I’d open up Pandora’s Box
And play the sly and cunning fox

I’m looking forward to this spring
To taste this taste of seasoning
To place aside the mundane day
And pick the daisies by the way

She loves me, she loves me not
The soup boils and the fires hot

You've got to watch Pandora's box
sometimes I think it needs a lock!

Good morning, Sy! I've got to play catch-up
and go back a few days to gather your gems...

I've been a little busy!

Good grief you have nice weather there all the time, think about me up here in the pouring rain, and that will cheer you up.  I loved the last line Sy, why is it I am attaching that to your other half.

Well Sy, now I know you like honey in your tea!

I like this well crafted poem, and I like the imagery too; and here's to many more Springs!
