You are sure to make me feel small You hurt and we all feel the fall Your pain is echoed in your anger Your words they sting at us like flying darts Your angry rage scares us all I can’t erase the pain you feel I didn’t cause it I can’t control it I’m not to blame I scream to no one To make your pain go away You still berate me with your words They fall heavy on my heart and mind Always threatening to leave me When all that has occurred, Is that you bruised your pride You never turn it on yourself Everyone else here is to blame Don’t you know the more you do this? I feel less safe with you... Then it’s all over Your tyrant rage is once again no more You reach for me and beg for my reprieve And I’m supposed to just fall in line again Loving caring and forgiving It’s getting harder to forgive It’s getting harder to forget I cry inside, for you to love me Like I once was your dream I pray someday your pain, will lessen I pray some day; you’ll stop your anger But I’ve been here before, and you know What scares me, it’s a vicious cycle that I wander, I always seem to find The one that makes me feel this way. |

If this is true I will tell you from my experience, he isn't going to get better or do better...your love will turn to resentment and any children in the picture will suffer. Now if this isn't true...kudos to you for making me feel like it was!!!  "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
