We took rhythms stones looks curtseys backward looks echoed in black of eyes and hair and grit and sand and being silly and provocative in knowing each caught well maybe it was a bit early on caught or so I thought and maybe it was a bit later on caught or so she though

We ploughed through life never talking of the first days or day

We took life and when life went away we had lived

On that first day
