Somewhere to go
Something to do . . .

If it wasn’t you
It’d be someone else . . .
Whatever is here at the hour

And another night
In a hackneyed act
That it really does matter with who . . .

Don’t tell her so
That would be cruel

She likes to think
Each man a fool

perhaps she's had the unfortunate experience, of only knowing fools?

Great poem

Each man a fool
In his awkward paradise of
Silence and everlasting
Glances from
Illustrious bottom
To
Well-dipping top

I tried my hand at the "fill in the blank" approach to your genius.  Again...loved this write.
